The horse feed industry is no different than the cat and dog feed industry. They wrap up their food in good advertising and play on our emotions. They know we only want the best for our horses. We want our horses to be their healthiest and live long, quality lives. Thrive doesn’t have fancy packaging and celebrity spokespeople and yet the results speak for themselves, and more and more want to try Thrive. It is through word of mouth that I found out about Thrive.

Thrive is the key that unlocks many a mystery in the horse. It works to lower the animal’s stress load which is so commonly overlooked in the horse industry today from training, to health ailments, to feeding. If all horse owners could see the message that Thrive sends, or understand how and why it worked, they’d be able to apply it to all other areas of horse management and reap the success that comes with that knowledge. Thrive is the ONLY processed feed I will give my horses, because I understand its value, and I only want the best for the animals I love. We all owe Dale a huge amount of gratitude for dedicating his life to such an incredible addition to our horses lives — mine surely thank him for it 😉

I am the Equine program director for Travaasa-Austin, a destination resort near Lake Travis. I have been feeding Thrive to our horses for close to a year now and I am extremely pleased with the results. All our horses have contact with our guests and it is important that they are in great condition and remain calm and relaxed.We are always complemented on how healthy and happy our horses are and I think this is a result of feeding thrive. I am also a farrier and specialize in natural hoof care. I recommend thrive to all my clients and I have witnessed amazing results in the horses that have been put on thrive as it relates to hoof growth and overall body condition. Thrive really puts the muscle on horses and my clients are very happy after they see results when nothing else helped as promised.

Thrive is the Last Chance for many horses, but it gives them the Fighting Edge they deserve. But it is not only for horses on their last leg is also gives performance horses a Superior Advantage.

I have seen amazing changes from feeding Thrive. My horses that normally gain weight to easy, now look lean and in shape. My older horses that use to cost tons of money to keep weight on, now only eat 2lbs of thrive a day and keep really good weight easy now. Making my feed bill a lot smaller. My mare that use to be skittish is now a great, calm, easy ride. I use to feed supplements to help my horses coat shine and feet grow. On thrive their coats are more defined and sharper, and super shiny. Even their winter coats. My minis love it as a treat when we are clicker training. And my son Noah just can’t eat enough of it. It took months for my friend Trista to talk me into feeding Thrive. It sounded to good to be true, but now I love feeding it to my horses and feel like its abuse to feed anything else. Thanks

Hmmm. I don’t really have many pics about my submission on Thrive Feed! Except, I trusted Dale completely with it! I had a gelding who had suffered thru colic surgery and was on a strict diet of oats and bermuda/alfalfa mix! I knew that wasn’t proper nutrition for him so i made the switch. With in just a few days i saw a drastic change is his body condition, coat and his hooves! Well after theses changes i started spreading the word. While suffering the verbal cut downs from people who should have been so close to me, Dale stood up behind, and explain his experience, although these people did not listen, I am the one standing up with healthy horses! AND NO COLIC! THANKS DALE!

Truth is learning that Dale’s life-journey has given him insight into equine nutrition which cannot be challenged;
Truth is accepting that God guides us to unique experiences which lay the foundation for creation and inspiration;

The truth is that our horses have never been hungry due to a lack of food but from a lack of nutrition from other commercially processed feeds. With 5 horses from mini to 16.1 hands, from 3 to 20-something Thrive has been a one-size fits all feed that has kept them healthy, easy to handle and enjoyable to ride. We struggled with finding a balanced diet since we got our first horse. It seemed that if we fed according to instructions we would have an overweight horse that was to hot to handle much less ride. If we cut back on portion size our horses would be in poor condition. Every few months we would be trying a new feed without ever finding the results until we found Thrive. Other benefits that we have seen in feeding Thrive have been increased muscle, decreased hay consumption and keeping all 5 barefoot for the first time!

“The Truth is I first learned about Thrive through The Humane Society of North Texas who use Thrive to change the lives of abused and neglected horses. They have literally fed Thrive to horses so starved they could no longer stand (and we all know how critical a down horse is) and in a few months transformed that hollow shell into a healthy beautiful sound animal again! I began using Thrive this summer when hay became scarce and my mare could not be happier, so I will continue to drive MILES out of my way to a feed store that carries it! As for the 4000# I would donate it to my friends at HSNT since the are a nonprofit organization who has never turned down a horse, donkey, or mule in need! “

Rochelle wrote: “The truth about Thrive feed: makes even the most faint poor and starved horse gain strength vitality and life without ever having to worry about getting ill colic or overfeeding. The maker of Thrive feed, Dale Moulton, has helped so many rescues and underfed animals with his generosity and his intelligent gift of his knowledge and advice he can no longer keep track I would guess of all the ones who have benefited. I have seen horses on deaths door turn into lively animated frolicking beasts in just a few months. My own pony who was in poor weight and scraggly coat and dull lifeless eyes was transformed within just 2 bags of THRIVE. I have seen this in person and know the greatness of the mixture and the organic healthy ingredients of THRIVE are not to be dismissed. I would use the 4000 pounds of THRIVE to help the rescues and my own 3 equines become better healthier and happier. I would introduce THRIVE to my Standardbred and Thoroughbred friends to show how beneficial it is for their racing and stamina. I board in NEW JERSEY and hundreds of equines would thrive on this feed, maybe that’s why it’s called THRIVE……hmmmmm”

“The truth about Thrive Feed is it the safest, most nutritional horse feed available on the market WITH ONE EXCEPTION – it is unsurpassable. I have seen the amazing impact the THRIVE can have on an animal that has been severely starved to the point of death! Thrive is not just another equine feed in a bag, but a nutritional higher power. If I could have the opportunity of receiving the #4000lbs. of feed, I would save approximately twenty bags to help my four rescued horses benefit from its nutrition. The rest of the feed I will proudly donate it to Dark Horse Rescue in Mississippi to help alleviate their stress of costs. Using Thrive feeds helps with cost because you can feed less with a greater result due to all natural and needed ingredients. Each one of my horses are rescues from a less fortunate life.
Horse A) Four year old gelding starved to a mere 850 lbs. from a normal 1150 lbs. His main and tail were balled into knots, hooves curled under, and no hair due severe rain rot.
Horse B) Three year old stall-ridden mare with a 5” stick is her shoulder since she was 22 months of age. She was surrendered to me, sought immediate surgery, and now is marked with the scar and shyness. Following surgery to received a blood transfusion to counteract the possibility of blood poison.
Horse C) Yearling Thoroughbred filly that was beaten, never wormed, never handled, etc. She is now has the brightest future.
Horse D) Twelve year old unknown breed mare – Her feet were curled under which left her with detached and weakened hoof walls the rest of her life. She was so starved with a yearling still nursing on her. She walked with a limp due to her hip being fractured during birth. She was breed to a 16.2 hand Thoroughbred stallion by accident compared to her 13.3 hand stature.
Like Mr. Moulton, I too love horses and greatly dislike abuse, neglect, and malnourishment! The impact of winning this feed would be the satisfaction that both you and I helped a nonprofit rescue organization as well as allow a new customer to try such a wonderful product. Truth is Mr. Moulton is going to change the world of both human and nonhuman creatures –their diet, their nutrition, their savings account, and their opinion ONE BAG AT A TIME. Thrive feed has not had the opportunity to reach TN or MS; winning would also mean the Thrive feed would grow as a company to be able to outreach into new areas of our country.
Best wishes to everyone!”

“I come from a different situation in that we are a natural horsecare facility and care for 35-40 horses at a time – for the past 11 years. We are not “non-profit”, although we really are:) We do our best to keep our costs as low as possible to cover only our costs so as to keep these horses from ending up in rescues and shelters, as they are so overwhelmed already. With the economy the way it is, I am always aware that any horse could be a rescue horse:( Over the past 11 years in business we have tried many feeds and have always tried to do our best for the horses in our care. When Thrive came to my attention, I wanted to try it so badly, but our budget did not allow it. I decided to try it with my personal horses with amazing results. My older Thoroughbred began to show new vitality and was gaining and holding weight with less supplemental feed. My draft crosses leaned up – not lost weight – but lost unnecessary fat:) After seeing what Thrive did for them, I sat down with my business partner and we crunched numbers until we found a way to feed Thrive to our whole facility. We have had amazing results – hard keepers look fantastic, easy keepers look lean and healthy, young and old and everything in between are doing beautifully, no laminitis showing up in the summer – and WE FEEL SO GOOD ABOUT WHAT WE FEED!!! Thank you for developing a feed that we CANNOT AFFORD NOT TO FEED!!”

“The truth about Thrive? Yes, it is the best feed on the market, great ingredients, etc. However, I contribute Thrive for saving my mare’s life. Not that Dixie was in distress, starving, or anything like that. Dixie, my 10 year-old buckskin Paint mare, was nursing the cutest foal on earth this summer and crashed due to dehydration colic. By the time we got her to the equine hospital, her kidneys were failing. After 4-1/2 hours of emergency colic surgery, she was resting in a stall (which she doesn’t like anyway), with IVs and antibiotics being administered. She stayed in the hospital 10 days. She had impactions in her small and large intestines, with toxins permeating through the small intestine walls. She had been on Thrive for 1-1/2 years, and I truly believe that the way Thrive is processed saved her life. Thrive makes the small intestines work like they are supposed to and since the intestines are muscles, Dixie’s were in great shape. A 3-year old gelding came into the hospital right after Dixie with similar issues, and unfortunately, they had to put him down once they opened him up. I could only think how grateful I am for Thrive. I could not imagine having to make that decision. Dixie was back on Thrive 3 days after surgery. Her foal has been on Thrive since day one. He was always allowed to eat what Momma ate. Dixie recovered faster than we expected and is back to being her sweet, calm self. Thank you, Dale, for sharing your feed with us. You have saved more horses in more ways than you will ever know. I have LIVING proof! Thanks for saving Dixie. I don’t know what I would do without her!!! Thrive is the only feed my horses will ever eat. Dixie also says “thanks”!”

“In 2009 my “world according to horse nutrition” was changed forever. As a result, hundreds of horses are now living better lives because finally, after much effort on the part of Dale Moulton, I stopped arguing with him about what I thought I knew, and began to listen to his words, learning something I had never thought possible. One feed could prevent almost certain death in starving horses, and the process by which it worked, a process which was in conflict with everything I had ever learned about feeding horses, was the answer. Thrive Feed has changed the way I view equine rescue and the way I feed my own horses. I have seen the miracle of this feed hundreds and hundreds of times. I have been blessed to be a part of the Thrive Feed miracle, and I thank Dale Moulton for persevering, and waiting for me to stop arguing, start believing, and see the true results, over and over and over again. The truth is that Thrive Feed saves lives, equine lives, and the world of horses will forever be a better place. Thank you, Dale.”
